Spring Break is Almost HERE!

Well, it is official...spring break is almost here...only 7 more hours! I am excited for spring break but then again I am kind of bummed because I dont get paid for all those days off :( Oh well though, it will be nice to do some relaxing and get some things accomplished at home. The girls are going to Jon's this weekend, so Saturday I am going to Lebanon with Aunt Lynn to buy some shrubs and trees for my yard. I am so excited to finally get some landscaping done this week. It will definitely improve the looks of the outside of my house. I also want to get a few pots to plant some flowers in and a flag to put up outside. I just hope the weather is better next week. It will stink if it rains all week! We also have two birthday parties to attend this coming week which is exciting. I need to go buy some gifts sometime this weekend...probably when I make a trip to the grocery store. Well, I need to get back to work. Until next time...

My Weekly Blog...

I dont know what it is about Wednesday but apparently this is the only day of the week I give this blog any thought these days! So here is what has been going on with me this past week...

Nothing interested happened last week...just the same old stuff...work and spending time with the kiddos. This past weekend was really fun. Friday, Jessica and I met up with Kirby for dinner at Logan's, then we ended up at Kirby's apartment for some cards and just goofing off and acting crazy. Jessica and I didnt end back up in Scottsville till nearly 4 in the morning! It was a lot of fun. Saturday I enjoyed sleeping in and then I did some housework. Saturday night Jessica and I took a quick trip to Glasgow. I had to get some storage cubes for the new shelves I got for Emma and Zoie's toy room. I also picked up a few things at Walmart then we decided to eat cheap and headed to Long John Silver's (which is one of my all time favorites! I miss the one we use to have in town!) where we used one of my fabulous buy one get one free coupons, you just cant beat a deal like that! HAHA. I have been trying to get some use out of the coupon book my grandpa bought for a fundraiser...it has really been coming in handy lately. After our trip to Glasgow we stopped by a friends house, and hung out for awhile, then we went back to my house and gossiped, etc. until the early hours of the morning again. Sunday I was very lazy...then the girlies finally came home! I started another long work week on Monday...and unfortunately Zoie woke up sick yesterday morning. I took her up to Linda's and she tested negative for strep. They said it could be too early to actually test positive since she just woke up with the symptoms so they gave her an antibiotic because she had all the other symptoms. Last night she was also sick with diarhea and she vomitted a few times yesterday also. She had a fever this morning but seemed to be doing a little better. I decided to go on in to work because my grandma said she would be fine keeping her even though she was sick. I am hoping she is eating better today and drinking more fluids. As long as she will drink the pedialite she will be okay and not get dehydrated. I just hope Emma doesnt come down with it but I am sure she will. My sister went home sick with a stomach ache and headache this morning so its definitely going around because she stayed the night with us Sunday and Monday. I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope Emma and I get lucky and do not get it. I guess I have been lucky though because this is only the second time Zoie has been sick enough to get an antibiotic since she was born. Well I need to get back to these silly third graders. BoReD!

Today I am subbing at the primary center in a first grade classroom. I was originally suppose to do an ESS make up day today but yesterday I was pulled to sub for Ms. Gregory and I knew she probably wouldnt be back today so I pretty much volunteered to sub in here again. Her class is really good and I know their schedule so I figured I might as well be in here. Plus, I get to do 2 ESS make up days in April to make up for yesterday and today which is more money for me! I am loving working everyday...I mean, dont get me wrong, I love to stay home with the girls but is great to be making some good money these days. I am making way more than I anticipated on making when I started subbing so hopefully I wont have to work this summer. I just wish I could find a job for next fall so then I wouldnt have to worry about that! There I go...worrying about the job situation again...I am beginning to think it is totally impossible to NOT worry about it. So as for that...nothing new is really going on. My life basically consists of the same thing every week. I go to work, spend time with the girlies and that is about it really. Tonight I am making spagetti and my mom is coming over for supper. It has been awhile since I cooked for the family. We have been going out moms more lately...it is nice to get out of the house. I cant wait till it warms up and the girls can play outside everyday. I know how much they love being outside. I am thinking about getting them a playhouse once school gets out and I am at home with them more. I was wanting to get it for their birthday but since that is so late in the summer I want to get it early so they can play with it all summer long. I also want to get them a sand box but I am worried they might want to eat the sand. One of those plastic picnic tables is also going to be necessary because I have a feeling we will be having lunch outside alot. I hope they like to go swimming because that is also something I plan on doing with them once it gets warm. I have so much I want to do this summer, I just cant wait! It seems like winter lasts forever these days! Im hoping by spring break the weather will be a lot nicer out. It has finally warmed up a little bit today. I think the kids will get to go out for recess which will be nice and hopefully Im right and I dont have duty! I mean, its warmer but not warm enough for me! It has to be at least 70 degrees outside for me to want to go outside and actually stay out. Well I guess its time for me to get to my last reading group for the day. Until next time...

Why?

Why is everybody so worried about me having a boyfriend or dating? It seems like everybody has been on my case lately and I just dont understand. I am not concerned with it so why is everybody else? Just because I dont get out much and I am at home so much does not mean that there is something wrong with me...I like my new house, so I like to spend time at home and guys are nothing but a headache. Im tired of putting myself out there and getting hurt over and over again. When it is time for me to find a guy I will, but I am not in a hurry! I do joke around with my friends and ask them if they know any good single guys but Im not really concerned if I date or not. Things happen when they are meant to happen. Anyways, enough of my ranting and raving. Life is good and that is all that matters right now. I am extremely content with how everything is going...even though I am always worried about the job situation which I need to stop stressing over because that is obviously not getting me anywhere! I just hope that saying is true, "good things happen to those who wait." I have a great family, great friends, and everything else in life is also great, so why worry? It is better to live in the present than the past or worry about the future...there are somethings in life that we cant change. Well I have a lot more to say but Ill have to do that later...maybe tonight if I get time. Until next time...

It's been awhile...

Gosh, I cant believe it has been a whole week since I last updated my blog! I use to update it a couple of times a day on some days now I hardly have the time and when I do have a free minute I would rather be doing something else all together. Nothing exciting has really been going on in my life. Valentine's Day has come and gone! Thank goodness. It is one of my least favorite holidays of the year so I am thankful that it is over. The girls liked their Valentine's gifts so that is really all that matters. I spent my Valentine's Day doing a whole lot of NOTHING. Jessica came over and we got some pizza and watched Saw V. It was a good movie but I think the whole Saw thing is really getting old. It is time for a new scary movie with a whole new plot. I have been working everyday lately which is going to be great when payday rolls back around. I am already booked for everyday in March which is good because I wanted to get in as many days as possible before spring break. I also have recently gotten a fence put up in my backyard! I am super excited about it. Clint Livesay came and put it up yesterday. He just has to come back and do a few more things...Im hoping since it hasnt rained all day today that maybe he will get it finished up today or even tomorrow. It is going to be so nice this summer when the girls play outside and I dont have to chase them all over the place. He is also very affordable so I would suggest him to anyone that is interested in getting a fence. I have got several more things I want to do to the house this spring. I am going to box in the bottom part of my back deck which will really look good once that is done. I am also going to plant some trees and do some landscaping during spring break hopefully. I would love to build a carport but Ill just have to wait and see what happens with the job market before I do that. It will really look nice once I get all of this done. I am so excited to finally be in MY own home! How fabulous!? Well I will write more at a later date...hopefully sooner than later. Until next time...

Just a Random Blog

I haven't written a blog in a few days so while sitting here bored at the high school I thought I would use my time wisely and write a new blog. Unfortunately I have nothing important to write about...go figure! Life has been good lately. This weekend I went on a date...Red Lobster and a movie. It was really good and I also had a good time. I also picked the girls up some shoes for the summer/fall that I found on sale at Dillards. I got them for $10.50 a pair and they are Stride Rite so I thought that was a great deal. Sunday night was an awful night for sleep. I had a hard time getting one of the girls to go to bed...she was so mad for some reason. She even hit me in the eye with a sippy cup! The other one went to sleep with no problem but I have no idea how she slept through such a fit! Luckily the past two nights have been better. Monday night they went to sleep with no problem...I even went to bed when they did because I was so tired. Last night was okay too. Zoie started to get a little fussy and has this problem with throwing herself down onto the bed...no matter what is in her path which just happened to be my lip which she busted. I picked her up and laid her on the pillow and surprisingly she went right to sleep. It is like they have to be touching me in order to go to sleep these days so I normally have one on each side of me. So after the busted lip they both fell asleep and slept good all night! YAH! It is always a little rough for a few days after they have been to Jon's for the weekend. They seem to have a hard time adjusting to being back at home. I would really like to know how they get them to sleep??? I was dreading being at the high school today more than anything. I want to be home with the girls. I think the next opportunity I get to be at home on Wednesday I am going to take it so I can get in a little QT with the girls. Well I am going to do a little reading. Until next time...

Tuesday Talks: First Day of ESS

Well my first day of ESS has not been what I expected because I got pulled from ESS to sub for a first grade teacher who was feeling sick and had to go home :( I did, however, get to have my first group this morning so at least I got a start on it. The first group is 30 minutes long and the rest of them are 20 minutes each. Luckily tomorrow I get to make up today so I got to cancel my sub day at the high school! I am so happy because after yesterday I did not want to go back over there! I just hate it. I am scheduled there next Wednesday...I hope it goes better than the last couple of times I have had to sub there. Im going to stick it out because I need the money but I dont know if I will schedule anymore days there. I guess it depends on how desperate I am for sub days. At least I will get to make up ESS tomorrow and I'll make the money that I soooo need to make! It has started snowing a little out but I am hoping that it doesnt amount to anything because I dont want to miss any school this week. My throat is hurting again today. I think Im going to break down and take the z-pac because I dont think it is going to go away on its own and I dont want to be sick and missing work. Today I have to take the girls to their wic appointment. I dread going up there...especially if the lady who did my wic last time I took the girls up there does it this time....she was so slow and the girls were so ready to go home. It was like she was just trying to waste time for who knows what reason. Oh I almost forgot that I went to file taxes with my lovely ex-Jon lol NOT. Anyways, I SURVIVED! I was expecting we would get in a big argument but surprisingly we didnt argue too much. Ive got to work on my smart comments that I cant seem to stop saying when I talk to him. Im going to start trying to be a little nicer, but it is really hard when you dislike someone so much. Im glad to have all that over with because it was really stressing me out! I get too stressed but I just cant help it....Im a worry wart! Well thats all for now. Until next time...
